Dog Gone Gear

My name is Karen, the one woman show behind dog gone gear. Along with my dog and model, Clark, I sew handmade dog bandanas, dog bow ties and dog collars as well as fun shirts for dog lovers.

I started this business in 2021. Clark had just gotten over a tooth infection that caused him to drool, a lot. To deal with the massive drooling we put our bandanas and buffs on him: and he liked it! After he was better I decided to get him some dog specific bandanas. I didn’t find love what I found. Having sewed a little back in high school and having an opportunity to inherit a sewing machine from my late crafty mother in law, I decided to try my hand at making some myself. I tried them out on Clark and then with friends and family, and it was a hit. I decided to turn this into a business and here I am today, going into my fourth summer of business.

I work out of my home in Stouffville, Ontario. My favourite place for you to shop is from me in person when I am at a market or show. I love getting in the moment feedback from you and helping you get the best fit and size of product.
