Wool and Silk Inspirations

Fashion design and trends are continuously being recreated. Many new techniques over decades have and still are being discovered with textiles, which allow for much more creativity. While all textile mediums are interesting, Wet felting and Nuno felting are those that Janet enjoys most. By using fine merino wool and silks together with other fibres for embellishment many beautiful colour combinations and textures can be created to make truly one of a kind garments. Nature has provided us with all we the materials needed to make this an exciting, fashionable and eco friendly form of wearable art. Janet is inspired by the colours and textures of plants, flowers and trees.
