Erika is a Zephyr based pyrography artist who loves to dabble in the art
of “writing with fire”. Pyrography, or wood burning, is the application
of controlled heat to any receptive surface including wood, cork, leather,
etc. Erika mainly works with wood, creating her own charcuterie/serving
boards that she mills, cuts, sands, burns, and seals by hand. The
inspiration for her pieces comes from her surroundings; living lakeside,
she is surrounded by an abundance of nature, including many botanicals
that inspire her designs. She offers custom work and takes pride in her craft.
